What is RSS? RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. An RSS document, which is called a "feed," "web feed," or "channel," contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that's easier than checking them manually. Where can I see your full list of available feeds? Do I need permission to put one of your feeds on our Web site? Yes, you will need to contact the Site Administrator for permission to use any of our feeds on another site. How do I put an RSS feed on my desktop? RSS content can be read using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader" or an "aggregator". There are many RSS-reading desktop applications available, including Feedreader, Headline Viewer and Net Newswire (Mac OS X). You'll need to download and install one of those applications on your system.
